Dear Daughter,
I truly desire your lives to be as fruitful as mine was when I was a teenager and young lady. My mother and father (your grandmother/grandfather) instilled many values, morals and gave me a good solid foundation. As I watch you develop, I can only hope and pray that I have instilled some of those same lessons into your lives. Values and morals are important because it is your title, and remains with you through-out life. When people know what you stand for and what you will not accept, they respect you more.

I marvel at how beautiful you become, and how you adorn yourselves with loveliness. You make me proud when you enter a room because you've learned the lesson of cleanliness, fashion decency and respect. While sometimes I raise my eyebrows, I must realize that times have changed and so have the styles. Yes, I know...I have to understand. While I get it - I still know that you have to respect yourselves enough to leave some things covered. Not for the imagination; but for your sense of pride and dignity. I hope you remember, "Pretty is that Pretty Does". Meaning, you must be just as beautiful on the inside as you look on the outside. Your character and personally should always shine! Your language should be pleasant and sweet; not argumentative, filled with curse words or negative comments. Be pretty inside and out!
I pray that I have been an important part of the lessons learned, and values gained.
