Heart of Worship: Song selection is very important. As a leader, it's important to understand and be able to differentiate choir and worship material. Certain songs are not intended to be sung during the worship part of the service. Some songs are mainly for choirs and for solos. Knowing the difference and being knowledgeable of this can be an asset, and will help build a powerful and anointed master song list. | |

During the time of praise and worship, the leader may encourage the congregation to "lift their hands" which is part of the leaders assignment. In some churches, you find that many people just stand there looking around with no hands raised, and people seem to be uninterested in participating in corporate worship. A worship team is not what you do on Sunday; it's a lifestyle. It's leading people to a place where you go daily. ~~Venez~~
Engaging in worship is not just singing, it's entering into the presence of God and worshipping Him for who HE Is not for what HE has done. Being a participator in worship and not a spectator is the key to your breakthrough. ~Venez~
