I took a break from blogging because I had to digest and process what was going on in my life.
I pondered how I would begin to blog about the last seven months of my journey. Not knowing where to begin; I start with the Truth.
What is truth? Truth is a fact, the real facts about something: the things that are true, the quality or state of being true, a statement or idea that is true or accepted as true, a reality, honesty, the state or quality of being faithful; allegiance.
Now that I've laid down the meaning of truth, I believe the first thing you can do to free your soul is to be truthful with yourself and others, because God always knows your truth. So you ask, what is this truth that I speak of? Are you ready? The truth is knowing deep in your heart that no matter what, you can never dictate or control the actions of others. Everyone does what they choose and you can only manage yourself.
Over the last seven months, my marriage was faced with dealing with the truth. It became so overwhelming that only time would tell what needed to be released. Sometimes we believe that we are tied to our mates for love alone. But the truth of the matter is, when we are tied to another life; we must be apart of each others destiny and purpose. When either party changes the plan; it could cause a serious problem if it's not rectified. The two must always seek to consider the other in private or public. When two people agree to live together in harmony and forsake all others -it mean just that. No one should be allowed to share any part of your union that is sacred. If this happens; truth is damaged and the unveiling of betrayal and lies begin.
This is part one of my story and I will share MY STORY the way I experienced it. I hope my story can help another person in their journey as that is my goal. My truth sets me free and I pray that it will help another person.
So, in the end of this opening of more to come....I share my truth. My truth is this:
My truth is a fact, my truth helps me to be free
My truth brings clarity and hope
My truth causes me to step back and see what is, and what isn't
My truth provide correction, humility and forgiveness
My truth keeps me honest and walking in integrity
My truth helps me to stand strong in the midst of wanting to break down
My truth helps me to live without consistent convictions
I am my truth in the way I live, the way I love and the way I trust.
When I can't trust; I can't live in truth.
My truth is who I am as a woman, My truth is me.
What is your truth?
